Joanne Gerber, M.D.

Dr. Gerber completed her Musculoskeletal fellowship and Radiology Residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Formally an engineer, she continues to pursue research interests in medical imaging and computer applications.

Her publications include development and analysis of image processing and display methods for diagnostic interpretation and surgical planning including virtual reality environments for surgical simulation.

Dr. Gerber is a board-certified Radiologist who continues to research how technology can help provide state-of-the-art care to patients.
