M. Loren Perlmutter, M.D.

Dr. Perlmutter oversaw the clinical MRI service at the Harvard Medical School's Beth Israel Hospital as an MRI fellow. This prestigious fellowship is one of the few in the country that focuses entirely on MRI and its full range of clinical applications. Before joining Progressive Radiology, Dr. Perlmutter engaged in eight further years of MRI-intensive practice.

A contributor to the widely used textbook Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Dr. Perlmutter also published articles on body imaging and anatomy in Radiology and the American Journal of Roentgenology. The Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society granted him credentialed membership not only in general MRI, but also in the subspecialties of orthopedic and neurological magnetic resonance.
